A consultation has been launched by the Welsh Government which could see the reduction or abolition of commission fees on the sale of park homes.
Under the current system, a person who buys a mobile or park home is required to pay up to 10% commission to the site owner.
Mobile and park homes owners are being encouraged to take part in the consultation by Wrexham AM, Lesley Griffiths.
She said: “Constituents have regularly contacted me about this issue and I know the Welsh Government has reviewed the current arrangements carefully.”
“Commission fees are a complex matter but this consultation will provide invaluable information to help the Welsh Government form their final view. I will ensure the constituents who have contacted me on the matter are aware of the latest developments and would encourage all interested parties to make their views known.”
The consultation will be available on the Welsh Government website – www.consultations.gov.wales
